Sustainability is an important topic within DDM. It has our full attention on the projects: attention for employees, for the reuse of sustainable materials, for efficient energy consumption, for the reuse of equipment and materials and, finally, for the highest possible recycling percentage.

DDM has achieved the Ecovadis sustainability rating #ZILVER 🥈! This puts DDM among the top 25% of rated companies.

Expansion of machinery!

Recently, DDM became the proud owner of the Kobelco 260LC-11 with a Stage V engine. This 27-tonne crawler crane with an output of 138 kW fits in well with DDM's policy of sustainability.

Special transport discarded piece of equipment from industry

DDM is currently carrying out work on a client's site in Zeeland. A disused industrial installation had to be decontaminated; this was a challenge on the project site as it would entail various risks. DDM had a solution for this!

New acquisition: 100-tonne crane

Recently, the machine park of DDM has been expanded with excellent material, namely the Hitachi SCX1000A-3. The crane has a working weight of 104 tonnes, making it one of the cranes with a very high working weight at DDM.

DDM is more sustainable

Sustainability is an important subject at DDM. We recently fitted the roof of our workshop and warehouse with solar panels.

New office

It was planned from the start of 2018 that all contractors who work for our client in Terneuzen would be required to relocate their site offices and workshop to a new location outside of the site. Gradually, each contractor left their old offices for their new site accommodation.
