Do you love a challenge but not safety risks? Do you determine how a demolition project should be run but also make coffee? Then this job is for you! Is German your first language?
You will be assigned to industrial demolition projects. On-site, together with your work planner, you determine the most efficient and effective approach. Together, you develop a work plan and a safety plan. You allocate tasks to personnel and machinery, create a project schedule, and monitor its progress. If permits are required for the project, you are responsible for obtaining them. You are also the main point of contact for the client.
You are the first to arrive on-site in the morning. You prepare the day and ensure that everyone knows what needs to be done. You coordinate the work and also lend a hand when necessary. You ensure that all dismantled materials are processed and disposed of in accordance with regulations. In addition, you enforce strict compliance with safety regulations among colleagues, suppliers, and subcontractors. You give instructions and hold toolbox meetings. You anticipate potential hazards and continuously make employees aware of risks by regularly reminding them of safety procedures.
You ensure that the work is carried out according to the contract and have a clear overview of all activities. You are responsible for recording the working hours of employees and machinery and submit project documentation to the office once a week. You also carry out all checks and inspections outlined in the work plan.
If you identify an opportunity for a new project for DDM, you immediately contact the commercial department.
