At the BASF site, DDM is carrying out the dismantling of the TDA and TDI installations. What makes this projects unique is that a large portion of the plant components has been sold by DDM for reuse.

The works involve significant technical and logistical challenges. Space on site is limited, and various installation components must be carefully dismantled, removed without damage, and prepared for transport. In addition, DDM operates within an environment where only its own permit-to-work and safety systems apply.
Throughout the project, DDM is performing complex activities, including heavy lifting operations and work at height. Innovative dismantling techniques are also being applied, such as the use of plasma cutting technology, enabling precise and efficient execution.
For the execution of the project, DDM is deploying its latest equipment, including the Sennebogen crawler crane. Through a combination of specialist expertise, modern equipment, and a well-structured project approach, DDM once again delivers tailored solutions within a complex industrial environment.
