Removing asbestos from a property or structure requires precision. Do you have what it takes to take on this responsibility? Then this job is for you!
Asbestos needs to be removed, and you decide how this is done. Together with a work planner, you develop your strategy in a work plan and a safety plan. You assign tasks in this plan to employees and machines, thereby creating the project schedule. If permits are required for the project, you are responsible for applying for them. You are the main point of contact for the client.
Naturally, you ensure that the asbestos or asbestos-containing materials are properly removed, stored, or transported. You supervise strict compliance with safety regulations, both for your colleagues and for suppliers and subcontractors. You anticipate potentially dangerous situations and continuously raise awareness among your team by regularly pointing out the risks involved in the work.
You are responsible for recording working hours for both employees and machinery and submit the project documentation to the office once a week. You also manage asbestos records and material certificates required for asbestos work, and you closely monitor the project costs. In addition, you carry out all checks and inspections outlined in the work plan. If you identify an opportunity for a new project for DDM, you immediately contact the commercial department. Once a month, you come to the office to attend the DTA meeting, where all projects and the latest rules and regulations are discussed.
