Removing asbestos from a property or structure is precision work. Do you have what it takes to take on this responsibility? Then this vacancy is for you!
Asbestos needs to be removed, and you determine how this is done. Together with the work planner, you develop your approach in a work plan and a safety plan. You assign tasks in the work plan to personnel and machines and draw up the project schedule. If permits are required for the project, you are responsible for arranging them. You are also the main point of contact for the client.
Naturally, you ensure that all asbestos and asbestos-containing materials are removed, stored, and disposed of in accordance with regulations. You supervise strict compliance with safety rules by your colleagues, as well as by suppliers and subcontractors. You anticipate potentially hazardous situations and keep all employees alert by regularly reminding them of the risks involved in the work.
You keep track of the hours worked by personnel and machines and send the project administration to the office once a week. You also manage asbestos records and the certificates of the equipment used in asbestos work, and you closely monitor project costs. In addition, you carry out all checks and inspections outlined in the work plan. If you identify an opportunity for a new project for DDM, you immediately inform the commercial department. Once a month, you come to the office to attend the DTA meeting, where all projects and current regulations are reviewed.
