DDM carried out the complete dismantling of a body shop installation for a major car manufacturer, with a strong focus on safety, timely execution, and incident-free operations.
This project involved several key activities, including the disassembly and removal of 750 robots, along with their associated control cabinets, which were intended for reuse. Additionally, the body shop installation was removed across an area of 69.646 m², and a total of 7.000 tons of other equipment was dismantled.
Circular business practices are becoming increasingly important. Therefore, DDM focuses on dismantling and relocation with an emphasis on reuse. Many components were transported to other factories for reuse. Non-reusable structures were dismantled and recycled. The project was executed using electric equipment, specialized tools, and custom-developed lifting and hoisting solutions.
Despite the various challenges, we persevered and successfully completed the project through close collaboration with our team. The dedication and commitment of everyone involved ensured that we not only met expectations but also gained valuable experience for future projects.

Removing 5 arch bridges over the Amsterdam Rhine Canal was an intensive job. The schedule was tight and the expectations of all employees were high. But with a joint effort and incredible passion, DDM has successfully removed and recycled the 5 bridges within schedule.
Every year DDM holds a number of safety days to boost safety awareness.
Last year's objectives are evaluated and new objectives are determined. All managers and all operational employees discuss safety, policy and vision together. In addition to all regular training courses, DDM offers workshops and training to all employees during these days to take the qualities of the professionals to an even higher level. Together with all DDM employees, we are working on an increasingly higher safety ethic. Everyone at DDM carries out their work in a safe and healthy manner, with sufficient attention to the environment. And they're getting better at it. This applies to everyone; back to work healthy and safe and back home healthy.
