Dismantling and removing various parts from a production plant

DISMANTLING Projects | Dismantling and removing various parts from a production plant

A client from the north of the Netherlands asked DDM to dismantle and remove a production line, a bottle bunker and a drying tank. In addition, two storage tanks had to be removed and placed elsewhere for reuse. The production line served to fill and label bottles and had to make way for a new production line.

Once the work site was set up and physically separated from other activities within the plant, work began on carefully dismantling the components to be removed. After accurately dismantling and removing the production line, the dismantling specialists lifted out two large storage tanks through an opening in the roof. These tanks were put on transport and placed elsewhere.

Finally, a drying tank was dismantled and lifted out. Dismantling specialists from DDM first temporarily removed the roof structure and present platform. Then the drying tank could be detached and lifted out.

The work consisted of various parts that required precise work. After the dismantling work was completed, the various waste flows were separated. The resulting scrap was transported to an authorised scrap processor.

DDM managed to complete this work within the agreed schedule. DDM's dismantling specialists have once again done an excellent job for a very satisfied client.
